The type of rituals involved in Buddhism consist some of the following;
Meditation- This means to have mental concentration and focus.
Mantras- This means sacred sounds.
Mudras- These are hand gestures that are very symbolic.
Prayer Wheels- This is where monks will repeat mantras as they turn a wheel.
The dress requirements vary for the type of monk. Example: Korean and Chinese monks wear brown, grey or blue robes. Japanese monks can wear either black or grey robes and they have another robe used for prayer called a kesa that is worn over the
normal robe.
This is an example of a South Korean robe.
