What are the holy figures for Buddhism?
One of Buddhism's Holy figures is Buddha himself or Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism. In most Buddhist temples there is almost always a statue of Buddha present. Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha) founded Buddhism; he found enlightenment and traveled the world to teach people about the path to salvation. In turn the Buddha is seen as one of Buddhism's holy figures.
